SASKATCHEWAN ROUGHRIDER FOUNDATION JERSEY RAFFLE: OFFICIAL RULES (“RAFFLE”)
OFFICIAL RULES: By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation, which shall be binding and final as to all matters related to the Raffle. The Raffle is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws.
NET PROCEEDS: All net proceeds of the Raffle will benefit the SASKATCHEWAN ROUGHRIDER FOUNDATION, (hereafter known as the “Sponsor”) and the programs and charitable donations that the Sponsor supports.
PRIZE(S): There are 40 unique autographed player jerseys, and 40 draws will be made valued at $155.03 each for a total of $6,201.20 in Jersey prizes.
All prizes will be mailed or couriered to the winners at the Foundation’s expense.
ELIGIBILITY TO ENTER: Tickets are eligible for purchase to patrons who are located within the Province of Saskatchewan at the time of entry. They must be nineteen (19) years of age or older and otherwise meet the conditions specified in these Official Rules of Play.
The following individuals are ineligible to participate in the SRF Foundation 50/50 Raffle:
- Employees of the Foundation and those living in the same household
- Those directly affiliated with the administration of the raffle and selecting its Winners
- Executives and Employees Tap 50:50 Event Consultants
NUMBER OF TICKETS AND TOTAL PRIZE VALUE: The following prices and corresponding “ticket numbers” are available for purchase:
Maximum number of possible tickets: 148,824
Total prize value: $6,201.20
Ticket prices: 5 for $20, 25 for $50, 100 for $100 and 500 for $250
GAME DETAILS:
40 numbered envelopes will contain a card corresponding to a player’s autographed jersey. Winners will be selected by a random number generator. There will be 40 draws in total, starting at draw #40 and working down to draw number 1. Each winner will receive their corresponding draw number envelope. For clarity purposes, draw number 36 winner will receive envelope 36, draw number winner 35 winner will receive envelope 35. The selected envelope will be opened to reveal the corresponding prize jersey. This process will be streamed on Facebook live.
DRAW DATES: The draw date will be October 3rd, 2024 at 3:30pm starting time. Streamed live on the Foundation Facebook page.
DRAW SELECTION: Winning number(s) will be selected using a Random Number Generator (“RNG”) system from all eligible ticket numbers for the raffle. There will be 40 draws in total. The draws will take place at Mosaic Stadium, 1700 Elphinstone Regina SK at 3:30pm and will be open to the public.
The winning numbers will be posted to the SRF website, within twenty-four (24) hours of the Draw Announcement. It is the responsibility of the winner to contact the SRF to claim their prize, either via email at [email protected] or by calling the Main Office at 306-569-2323.
Ticket purchasers do not need to be present to win.
DETERMINATION OF OFFICIAL WINNER(S): It is the Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation’s sole discretion to determine whether each Potential Winner is an official winner of a Prize (an “Official Winner”). The decision concerning the identity of all Official Winners shall be final and binding. To become an Official Winner: (1) a Potential Winner must be eligible to participate in the Raffle under these Official Rules and must not be in violation of these Official Rules as determined in by the SRF’s sole judgment; (2) that Potential Winner must initiative the Claim Process within one calendar year.
AWARDING OF PRIZE(S) TO OFFICIAL WINNER(S): A Prize will be awarded to each Potential Winner who has been designated by SRF Foundation as an Official Winner. All winners have one (1) year from the initial draw date to claim their prize. All unclaimed prizes will be held for a period of one (1) full year. If a winner has not come forward and/or cannot be located by the specified deadline, the prize or cash equivalent value will be donated to a charitable beneficiary approved by Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA).
In the event of a winning ticket stub having more than one name, the licensee shall award the prize to the first individual identified on the ticket as the Contact. The licensee and Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) are not responsible for resolving any disputes which may arise between different individuals whose names appear on the raffle ticket.
TRANSFER OF RAFFLE TICKETS OR PRIZE(S): Raffle tickets are non-transferable. The individual listed as the “Contact” in the Processing Form will be the presumed owner of the Raffle Ticket. Purchasers of raffle tickets may not re-sell their tickets to other parties. All persons who re-sell, purchase, or receive Raffle Tickets in violation of these Official Rules shall be ineligible to participate in the raffle or win a prize(s).
GENERAL CONDITIONS: The Released Parties (defined below under “RELEASE OF LIABILITY”) are not responsible for: (1) Entries which are stolen, lost, damaged, illegible, given away or no longer in the purchaser’s possession, (2) Entries that have been or may have been tampered with or re-sold in violation of these Official Rules; (3) Entries or payments that are delayed, misdirected, undelivered, not fully captured, or garbled as a result of any failure or problem whatsoever with the availability, functionality, operability or use of any network, server, ISP, website, computer, telephone, cable or satellite modem or connection, hand held mobile device or any other computer equipment or connection, whether or not caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by viruses, worms, or malfunctions affecting a network, server ISP or any equipment or programming used in or associated with the Raffle; (4) any other errors of any kind, whether human, typographical, printing, mechanical, or electronic in nature, which relate to or are connected with the Raffle (collectively, as described in clauses (1) through (4), “Errors”), including without limitation Errors in Raffle-related materials or in the administration of the Raffle, such as Errors in processing Entries, identifying Potential Winners, determining Official Winners, or announcing or delivering Prizes; or If any portion of the Raffle is compromised, in Sponsor’s sole judgment, by a virus, worm, bug, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in Sponsor’s sole judgment, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Raffle, or the proper submission or capture of Entries (collectively, a “Compromising Event”), then Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend, modify or terminate the Raffle, and to select winners from all eligible, non-suspect Entries received before the known occurrence or discovery of such Comprising Event. All Entry purchases shall be final, and no refunds or replacements will be issued by Sponsor. Sponsor has sole and final decision on admissibility of entries and the determination of prize winner.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY: Entrants, by participating in the Raffle, agree that The Sponsor, and Tap 50:50, each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, partners, and advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, shareholders, members, consultants and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrants against, any liability for injuries, losses, cost, expenses or damages of any kind, including damages for death, personal injury, property damage.
