GENERALITIES OF THE GAME
WINNER SELECTION: A single ticket number will be selected each draw by a gaming lab certified Random Number Generator (RNG) from all raffle ticket numbers sold during the week leading up to the draw. Draws will be made at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 330, 314 Main Street, Lampman, SK. The draw will be made at 6:30pm and will be live streamed on Facebook every draw date. Lampman RM & Town Rec Board will have a minimum of three people present at each draw. Purchasers do not need to be present to win. If the winning ticket has more than one name on it, the prize will be awarded to the first person’s name on the ticket. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to distribute the winnings.
WEEKLY WINNER: The weekly draw winner will receive a single prize equal to 20 percent of all ticket sales collected during the week and have a chance to win the progressive jackpot by finding the Ace of Spades from a standard deck of 52 playing cards shuffled and placed face down on a numbered board from 1 to 52. If the winner is not present at the draw, the winner will be contacted by phone and given 15 minutes to come down and select a card or can select a card by selecting a board number from the remaining numbered board spots. The winner will be called 3 times at the phone number they provided within a 15 minute time frame. If the winner cannot be reached, a designated proxy (Richard Kochie or Jacie Samson) will select a card for the weekly winner. If the card revealed is not the Ace of Spades, the selected card is eliminated from the following week’s available cards, the highest numbered board spot is eliminated from the board for the next draw’s card placement and the game continues. Week 1 board spots will be 1 to 52, Week 2 will be 1 to 51, Week 3 will be 1 to 50, Week 4 will be 1 to 49, etc. All tickets from the previous week are then voided and ticket sales commence for the next weekly draw. If the Ace of Spades is drawn on the first week, the winner will receive 50% of the first week’s ticket sales. There is a maximum number of 350,000 tickets available for sale.
PROGRESSIVE JACKPOT: If the card selected reveals the Ace of Spades the weekly draw winner will also receive the Chase the Ace Progressive Jackpot, consisting of 30 percent of all ticket sales collected over all the weeks. If the Ace of Spades is not drawn the Progressive Jackpot carries over to the next week. Once the Ace of Spades is drawn the raffle will conclude. It will then be up to Lampman RM & Town Rec Board if they wish to restart the raffle over again under the current licence, depending on the time left in the raffle with the approval of SLGA.
GAME PLAY OUT: If the current game is not concluded by the end of the licensing period the game will be played out on the last Saturday of the license which will be February 21, 2026. RNG draws will be made and cards selected until there is a winner. There will be no sales between these draws and if the 20% prize weekly winner does not choose the ace, only the 30% progressive jackpot will be eligible to be won by subsequent draws.
