SASKATCHEWAN ROUGHRIDER FOUNDATION 50/50: OFFICIAL RULES (“RAFFLE”)

OFFICIAL RULES: By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation, which shall be binding and final as to all matters related to the Raffle. The Raffle is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws.

NET PROCEEDS: All net proceeds of the Raffle will benefit the SASKATCHEWAN ROUGHRIDER FOUNDATION, (hereafter known as the “Sponsor”) and the programs and charitable donations that the Sponsor supports.

PRIZE(S): The winner of each 50/50 Raffle will receive a cash prize equal to fifty percent (50%) of total net revenue. The other fifty percent (50%) of the Jackpot will be retained by SRF Foundation in its sole and absolute discretion, to support its charitable programs and initiatives throughout Saskatchewan, or as otherwise approved by Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA).

Guaranteed Payouts

• All 50/50 payouts will have a guaranteed minimum.  See Deadlines and Draws below.

Early Bird Prizes

• Each 50/50 (except the first game on May 20) will have an Early Bird Prize and a corresponding deadline.  See Deadlines and Draws below.

Bye Week Bonus Prizes

• There will be a Bye Week Bonus Prize of $1,000 connected to the 50/50 Draw for 3 games:
  • July 4 Home Game. BYE Week Bonus Prize Deadline June 28 @ 5pm for $1,000 drawn within 1 hour of the Deadline.
  • September 20 Road Game.  BYE Week Bonus Prize Deadline September 13 @ 5pm for $1,000 drawn within 1 hour of the Deadline.
  • October 26 Home Game. BYE Week Bonus Prize Deadline October 18 @ 5pm for $1,000 drawn within 1 hour of the Deadline.

Membership Program

Ticket purchasers who are opted into the membership program by the 50/50 deadline of the June 23 home game will be eligible for an additional $5,000 prize to be drawn at 5pm on June 28 and the winner will be announced on Riders5050.ca within 1 hour of the draw.  Members will be charged for their tickets on the first Tuesday after the previous 50/50 draw and Tickets will be emailed after successful payment. Members will be eligible for all Bonus, Early Bird and 50/50 prize draws.  Add-on tickets are not available through membership. Members can opt out of the membership program at anytime.

Add-on Prizes

• There will be 4 Add-on prizes which will run alongside the 50/50
• Add-on tickets can only be purchased with a 50/50
• Add-on Prizes - 4 golf carts - $16,095 each = $64,380

ELIGIBILITY TO ENTER: Tickets are eligible for purchase to patrons who are located within the Province of Saskatchewan at the time of entry. They must be nineteen (19) years of age or older and otherwise meet the conditions specified in these Official Rules of Play.

The following individuals are ineligible to participate in the SRF Foundation 50/50 Raffle:

• SRF Board of Directors
• SRF staff, volunteers, and Executives
• Those directly affiliated with the administration of the raffle and selecting its Winners
• Executives and Employees Tap 50:50 Event Consultants

NUMBER OF TICKETS AND TOTAL PRIZE VALUE:
Maximum number of possible 50/50 tickets: 16,000,000
Maximun number of Add-on tickets: 750,000
Maximum Retail prize value including 50/50, Early Bird, Bonus, Membership and Add-ons: $7,048,350

5050 = $6,880,000

Early Bird - 19 prizes = $96,000

Bonus Prizes - 3 x $1,000 = $3,000

Membership = $5,000  

Add-on - 4 golf carts $16,095 each = $64,380

TOTAL $ 7,048,350.00

50/50 DETAILS:

Ticket sales will commence online on Friday, May 17 at noon. Each 50/50 after the first game on May 20 will have an Early Bird Deadline.  The Early bird draw will take place immediately after the deadline and the winning ticket number will be announced on gameday and posted on Riders5050.ca. Ticket sales will continue until the end of the game and the draw will be conducted within 1 hour of the end of the game. The 50/50 winning ticket number will be posted on Riders5050.ca within 1 hour of the draw occurring.  Ticket sales for the next 50/50 will commence online at Noon the following day after the draw.  In venue sales will commence 3 hours prior to kick-off for home games and all sales will run until the game has concluded. There are 3 games with a Bye Week Bonus Prize and corresponding deadline – see details in section above.  There are 4 add-on prizes that will run ticket sales for the duration of the season – see details in section above.

Playoff ticket sales will commence online on Sunday, October 27 at Noon for the playoff game.  If the Saskatchewan Roughrider Football club achieves a home playoff game, In venue sales will commence 3 hours prior to kick-off and all sales will run until the end of the game.  An updated license application will be provided to the SLGA closer to the playoffs.

In the event of the game being postponed or cancelled, ticket purchasing will conclude 4-hours after the advertised game start on the date the game was intended to be played and the draw will be made within 1 hour of that deadline.

The following prices and corresponding “ticket numbers” are available for purchase:  5 tickets for $20, 20 tickets for $50, 50 tickets for $100 and 200 Tickets for $200.

Add-on ticket prices are 3 for $10.

• Tickets can be purchased online or in-venue or by telephone;
• In-venue sales will be available at Mosaic Stadium from 3 hours prior to kickoff for home games and concluding at the end of the game;
• Telephone sales will be available to all patrons that are physically In Saskatchewan, during the designated raffle period;
• All tickets purchased online or via telephone will receive an email confirmation receipt containing their ticket numbers;
• Raffle ticket sales are open across the province of Saskatchewan and can be purchased online via Riders5050.ca;
• Add-on tickets can only be purchased with a 50/50

DRAW SELECTION: At the conclusion of each raffle period, the winning number(s) will be selected using a Random Number Generator (“RNG”) system from all eligible ticket numbers for that raffle.  All draws will take place at Mosaic Stadium, 1700 Elphinstone Regina Sk.

The winning 50/50 ticket number will be posted to Riders5050.ca within 1 hour of the Draw. It is the responsibility of the winner to contact the SRF to claim their prize, either via email at info@saskridersfdn.com or by calling the Main Office at 306-569-2323.

Ticket purchasers do not need to be present to win.

LEGAL

DETERMINATION OF OFFICIAL WINNER(S): It is the Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation’s sole discretion to determine whether each Potential Winner is an official winner of a Prize (an “Official Winner”). The decision concerning the identity of all Official Winners shall be final and binding. To become an Official Winner: (1) a Potential Winner must be eligible to participate in the Raffle under these Official Rules and must not be in violation of these Official Rules as determined in by the SRF’s sole judgment; (2) that Potential Winner must initiative the Claim Process by the deadline specified above.

AWARD OF PRIZE(S) TO OFFICIAL WINNER(S): A Prize will be awarded to each Potential Winner who has been designated by SRF Foundation as an Official Winner. All winners have one (1) year from the initial draw date to claim their prize.  All unclaimed prizes will be held for a period of one (1) full year. If a winner has not come forward and/or cannot be located by the specified deadline, the prize or cash equivalent value will be donated to a charitable beneficiary approved by Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA).

In the event of a winning ticket stub having more than one name, the licensee shall award the prize to the first individual identified on the ticket as the Contact. The licensee and Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) are not responsible for resolving any disputes which may arise between different individuals whose names appear on the raffle ticket.

TRANSFER OF TICKETS OR PRIZE(S): Raffle tickets are non-transferable. The individual listed as the “Contact” in the Processing Form will be the presumed owner of the Raffle Ticket. Purchasers of raffle tickets may not re-sell their tickets to other parties. All persons who re-sell, purchase, or receive Raffle Tickets in violation of these Official Rules shall be ineligible to participate in the raffle or win a prize(s).

GENERAL CONDITIONS: The Released Parties (defined below under “RELEASE OF LIABILITY”) are not responsible for: (1) Entries which are stolen, lost, damaged, illegible, given away or no longer in the purchaser’s possession, (2) Entries that have been or may have been tampered with or re-sold in violation of these Official Rules; (3) Entries or payments that are delayed, misdirected, undelivered, not fully captured, or garbled as a result of any failure or problem whatsoever with the availability, functionality, operability or use of any network, server, ISP, website, computer, telephone, cable or satellite modem or connection, hand held mobile device or any other computer equipment or connection, whether or not caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by viruses, worms, or malfunctions affecting a network, server ISP or any equipment or programming used in or associated with the Raffle; (4) any other errors of any kind, whether human, typographical, printing, mechanical, or electronic in nature, which relate to or are connected with the Raffle (collectively, as described in clauses (1) through (4), “Errors”), including without limitation Errors in Raffle-related materials or in the administration of the Raffle, such as Errors in processing Entries, identifying Potential Winners, determining Official Winners, or announcing or delivering Prizes; or If any portion of the Raffle is compromised, in Sponsor’s sole judgment, by a virus, worm, bug, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in Sponsor’s sole judgment, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Raffle, or the proper submission or capture of Entries (collectively, a “Compromising Event”), then Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend, modify or terminate the Raffle, and to select winners from all eligible, non-suspect Entries received before the known occurrence or discovery of such Comprising Event. All Entry purchases shall be final, and no refunds or replacements will be issued by Sponsor. Sponsor has sole and final decision on admissibility of entries and the determination of prize winner.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY: Entrants, by participating in the Raffle, agree that The Sponsor, and Tap 50:50, each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, partners, and advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, shareholders, members, consultants and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrants against, any liability for injuries, losses, cost, expenses or damages of any kind, including damages for death, personal injury, property damage.
